3D Printing at the Ferguson Makerspace
3D printing is a process for making a physical object from a three-dimensional digital model, typically by laying down many thin layers of a material in succession. It is also called additive manufacturing. The 3D printers used at the Ferguson Library all use a method called fused filament fabrication, which lays down a molten material (often a form of plastic or plastic composite) layer by layer.
The Ferguson Library Makerspace uses a LulzBot Taz 6 3D Printer.
Print Area: 290mm x 275mm x 250mm (11.4in x 10.8in x 9.8in)
You can submit a 3D Print Request or contact our Makerspace Librarian at makerspace@fergusonlibrary.org. Please read our 3D printing policy.
